@Ben LY Yes but I do not want to affect the structual integrity of the frame. I do not know yet if I need this added space but I would be interested to know if it is possible to remove at least one of those ridges if the space were needed for the battery. Obviously I don't want to touch them if they impact the frames strength but I just wasnt sure if they were just left over from manufacturing.

They are indeed left over during the production process and there is no need to remove them. Although it is not a problem in theory to remove them, it cannot be ruled out that the removal process will damage the stability of the frame structure. So our suggestion is not to polish this area. If you polish it yourself, the warranty of the frame will also expire. If there is a quality problem with the frame, you have to bear it yourself.
